EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 2324-004

Subject: DESIGNATION OF THE OVERALL EVENT DIRECTORS FOR THE BUSWAK 2023

WHEREAS, leadership is a vital management function that helps to direct an organization’s

resources for improved efficiency and the achievement of goals. The student leadership is an
integral part of student success as they provide clarity of purpose, motivate and guide the
organization to realize its mission. Student leaders play a huge role in the progress of the
university as they commit themselves for the whole studentry. Nevertheless, their undying efforts
as they sacrifice their normal student lives give hope to emerging leaders not only in the
university but also in the country.

WHEREAS, as it hereby resolved by the USG Resolution No. 005, s. 2022, that the USG
approves and hereby adopts the motion to make the BUSWAK as an annual event which
comprises the centralized oath taking ceremony and leadership training.

WHEREAS, the University Student Government conducted the 1st Regular Session at New
Admin Conference Hall, CSU Main Campus last August 21, 2023.

WHEREAS, one of the agenda of the said regular session is the Buswak 2023 and the
governing body decided to assign the Overall Event Directors.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, DHAN JHARYD B. FELIAS, President of the CSU Main University
Student Government, by virtue of powers vested in me by the 2020 CSU Main University Student
Government Constitution and By-Laws, do hereby order:

SECTION 1. Appointment. It is hereby declared that the appointment of the following shall
perform their duties and responsibilities according to their designations:

Executive Director: VILLA, Benz L.

Associate Director: PIOCO, Kane Rock P.

SECTION 2. Duties and Responsibilities. The duties and responsibilities of the OVERALL
EVENT DIRECTORS shall be as follows:

 a. Take charge of the preparation of the event with the supervision of the USG
Executives.
b. Create steering committees for the event.
c. Supervise the formulation of the mechanics and guidelines for the different
activities.
d. Submission of the Accomplishment Report to the USG Secretariat Committee.
e. Perform such other functions that are deemed necessary.

ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR
a. Assist the Executive Director in his/her duties.
b. Act as a Coordinator/Member of a committee assigned.
c. Perform such other functions that are deemed necessary.

SECTION 3. Repealing Clause. All executive orders, policies, rules, regulations, and other
issuances of the Executive Branch or thereof, inconsistent with this Executive Order are hereby
repealed or modified accordingly.

SECTION 4. Separability Clause. In the event that any provision of this order or any hereof
is invalid, illegal, unconstitutional, the validity of the other provisions not thereby affected shall
remain in force and effect.

SECTION 5. Effectivity. This order supersedes other orders not consistent with it. It shall
take effect immediately until the end of this event, unless otherwise amended or revoked by a
competent authority.

DONE, in Caraga State University - Main Campus, Ampayon, Butuan City, Philippines, on the
23rd day of August, in the year of the Lord, Two Thousand and Twenty-Three.
