DIFFERENT TYPES OF PLANTAE IN COMBINATION WITH OREGANO

(Origanum vulgare) AND LEMON GRASS (Cympogon Citratus) AS HAND
SANITIZING SOAP
Origano ( Origanum Vulgare ) and Lemon grass ( Cympogon Citratus)
was studied to make an organic hand sanitizing soap. Experimental research
method was use in this study in order to found out which of the formulation can
be most efective in producing the organic hand sanitizing with regards to
acceptability, fragrance , and quality. As percieved by 20 respondents in the level
of adequacy, formulation 3 which uses aloe vera was the most preferable
formulation im all parameters. In terms of acceptability, formulation 2 has the
highest weighted mean of 4.5 which describe as like extremely. In terms of
fragrance formulation 3 has the highest weighted mean of 4.2 which is describe
as most pleasant. In terms of quality formulation 2 has the highest weighted
mean of 4.4 which is describe as outstanding.
In the evaluation it was found out that there wa no significant mean
difference of the formulations in the perceptions of the two groups of respondents
as in all parameters of the origano ( Origanum Vulgare) and lemon grass
(Cympogon Citratus) in combination with alo vera (Aloe Barbadenis Miller) is the
mosr preferable type of formulation in producing the organic hand sanitizing
soap. The output of the study is to produce a user’s guide for the hand sanitizing
soap, which can be use to clean and disinfect hands.
