Literacy Writing

We will be reading books that go along with our Students are encouraged to begin writing the
theme. In literacy centers we will be focusing beginning sounds they hear in a word. We are
on tracking 1:1 match of words. We are doing also learning to use the word wall to assist with
lots of work with our sight words with the short i spelling classmates’ names and sight words
sound. We are discussing charter and setting in
our stories.

sounds- e, o, k, I, p.

Math Theme-Fall

This week we will focus modeling numbers 4-7


in a variety of ways. Children will continue to
practice proper number formation. We will also
continue to create patterns and collect data.
We will continue to discuss all things fall. We
will look at the life cycle of pumpkins and
continue to discuss living and non-living things,
plants, and animals. We will be reading both
fiction and non-fiction books.

Suggested homework: Work on proper letter and number formation.
