Plan for Lifting & Hoisting of C-4, Pump

 Necessary permit to work shall be issued before commencing work at the site.
 Mobilization of material along with tools, equipment, and manpower from workshop to working
area.
 Use Fork Lift/Hand pallet jack to Shift Pumps closest to the desired location.
 Make Temporary scaffolding platform to align with CFP room stairs steps.
 After shifting the pump C4, near the foundation scaffolding shall be install with the provision of
chain block arrangement.
 According OSHA 29 CFR 1926.454 scaffolding capacity 450kg/m2
Total area of scaffolding = 4.39m2 with capacity of 1975kg
 After completing the erection of scaffolding for lifting of pump then Lifting belt capacity 2 ton
shall be wrapped around the scaffolding loading member.
 Second lifting belt attached with pump weight 590 kg then attached the one end of chain block
capacity 3 ton to first lifting belt and other end to second lifting belt.
 After ensuring all lifting equipment properly attached the lift the pump to desired location.
 Then lowering the pump on foundation for leveling ,alignment & anchor grouting for Pump C4
 After completing the job scaffolding shall be dismantled.
HSSE
 All PPE equipment requirements will be implemented as per HSSE guidelines.
 Only inspected and approved erected lifting and hoisting scaffolding arrangement will be
allowed to be used.
 Before erection of scaffolding for lifting and hoisting ground level should be checked.
 Before the start of the activity working area will be barricaded.
 Fire extinguisher & firewatcher shall be placed at the working area.
