A. Name of Activity : “CARIT - ALPAS: EXPLORING THE SCENIC ROAD


TO ENDLESS POSSIBILITIES, BREAKTHROUGHS
AND EXCELLENCE” – HRS MONTH CELEBRATION:
AWARDING CEREMONY AND VICTORY PARTY

II. DESCRIPTION:
CARIT-ALPAS is an integration of the Waray-Waray word “KARIT”
which basically means “excellence”. CARIT on the other hand is improvised and
made to sound like KARIT to give acrostic style of defining Camaraderie,
Accountability, Responsibility, Integrity, and Transparency. Meanwhile, ALPAS is
also coined from Filipino word which means “to break free”. According to Article
IV, Section 1 of the Constitution and By-laws mandates that the organization is
committed to; Develop its members intellectually, socially and culturally and train
them for an effective and responsible leadership. With that being said, the
proponent in responds to this. The HRS Month Celebration with the theme,
“CARIT-ALPAS: Exploring the Scenic Road Through Endless Possibilities,
BreaktHRoughs, and Excellence” aims to be an epitome of ESSU-Main HRDM
student’s character in the midst of trials and challenges of the modern place and
coping with it. It also intends to allow organization members to showcase their
abilities, participate in the modern workplace, and level up young professionals
with their wits and skills, all in order to strengthen the solidarity of Human
Resource Society's asset. This event will begin from 9: 00 AM to 5:00 PM with
the awarding ceremony to the winners who showcased their intellectual capacity
and excellent skills during the event of HRS Month Celebration and victory party.

III. RATIONALE:
Awarding Ceremony play as an avenue in an organization that boosts
a members’ worth in their field. The title 'Award winning' carries connotations of
reputation and expertise – something that's priceless in any line of work or field. In
this regard, the proponent of this activity aims to recognize the hard work and
perseverance of HRS members have invested during the academic year 2022-2023.
Victory Party will allow members not only celebrate the victory during
the HRS Month Celebration but to have a time to mingle and acquaint themselves

with one another. This will develop a sense of belongingness to every future Human
Resource Managers.

IV. OBJECTIVES
At the end of the activity, each participant is expected:
 To accomplish the objectives of the organization through an event that
fairly constitute the members;
 To boost the morale of every members through an activity that
acknowledge their hard work during academic year;
 To empower and unify HRS members through team building activity;
 To create camaraderie and aspire young professionals to skilled up
 To uphold excellence in the continuous service with resiliency

VIII. MONITORING & EVALUATION

Constant monitoring and evaluation will be done by the organization in the


pursuit of promoting and upholding academic excellence within its members. At the
end of the program, an evaluation form will be sent, and will be required to be
answered by the participants for the improvement of the conduct of the same activity
in the future. Upon filling the evaluation form, the participant will be receiving a
Certificate of Participation from organizers as a token of appreciation.

IX. HEALTH PROTOCOLS


Activity proper:
1. Participants shall remain seated and proper wearing of face masks will be
monitored.
2. No food and beverages will be served the entire proceedings.
3. Individuals with parts in the ceremony will be monitored closely for the
adherence of health protocols.

X. Adjournment/Exit:
1. All participants shall pass the two exit points following the
markings/signage. At no point shall individuals be allowed to stop and
congregate inside the venue and at the entrance/exit area.
