MISSION EAST
Security &Logistic Manager –SMT member May,2022- June 2023
Security:
• Part of the senior management team in country and core member for the incident
management and crisis management team, and budget holder for the security
department.
• Mission East representative for all access related issues with authorities in KR-I and Iraq.
• Attending formal meetings with the authorities in Baghdad, Naniwa, Kirkuk, and KR-I area.
• Conduct and document security assessments as required of office spaces, guesthouses
and project sites and oversee implementation of mitigation measures.
• Ensure operational security systems and protocols through Security Management Plan,
Standard Operating Procedures, Contingency Plans, and other procedural
documentations are kept up to date, relevant, complied with and regularly tested, in close
cooperation with national security focal points.
• Lead response to security crises and incidents.
Logistic:
• Manage the procurement processes for goods and services based on the value and
threshold.
• Management of contracts and framework agreements through conducting supplier
performance evaluation and monitoring and recording of expenditures against
framework agreements.
• Conduct and follow up daily operational Procurement activities.
• Prepare and develop Procurement reports.
• Update the asset list throughout the month.
• Monthly Centralized Asset report is shared with the Line Manager.
• Physically verify all assets monthly and ensure that all items have ID tags.
• Manage the vehicle tracking board to identify the current location of each vehicle.
• Ensure all service and maintenance works are accurately recorded and filed in
relevant asset folders.
• Track and ensure that all vehicle and machine services and repairs are carried out
on time, managing mechanics to ensure delivery.
