First of all, for those who don't know, Cars 1 is an animated film from Pixar

Studios, released in 2006, directed by John Lasseter. This film was a worldwide
success, especially with young audiences but also with adults.

As far as the synopsis is concerned, Flash McQueen is in search of the Piston

Cup but, during a trip to California, he gets lost in the small forgotten town of
Radiator Springs. He is sentenced to work on the main road, repairing the
damage caused by his reckless driving. Along the way, Flash gets to know the
people of Radiator Springs and, more importantly, he gets to know himself.
Eventually, Flash will have to make a choice between his personal ambitions
and his new family.

Now, let's talk about the main characters of the movie. First of all, the main
character is Flash McQueen, an ambitious and arrogant race car driver who
dreams of winning the Piston Cup, the most prestigious car race in the world.
Then we have Martin, a grumpy but endearing little tow truck driver, who
becomes friends with Flash. There is also Sally, a Porsche 911, and Doc
Hudson, a Hudson Hornet, a former racing champion, who play important roles
in the development of the story.

Let's move on to the buzz and the bad buzz around Cars . Regarding the buzz,
the film was a great success with the public, with receipts of over 462 million
dollars worldwide. Regarding the bad buzz, at the time of the release of the
film, a controversy broke out regarding the resemblance between the cars of the
characters and the cars of some famous brands. Some car manufacturers
accused Pixar of using their image to create the characters without their
permission. However, Pixar was able to resolve the issue and no legal action
was taken.

The characters, the story, the visuals, the music of the movie made it my
favorite movie. I have seen it at least a dozen times.
