Policies Scavenger Hunt
Directions: Each of the following items requires you to either answer a question or paste
a screen shot. For all typed responses, CHANGE THE COLOR FONT OF YOUR
ANSWER.. All information can be found on my MySJA page and on my syllabus. All
students who submit a CORRECT document will receive a golden ticket. You may talk to
other classmates to ask for help or you can ask me to guide you to the place where you
can find the information. Each student must submit her own document..

1. Paste a snippet of our class supplies.

2. What two things must you do if you miss a test or a quiz due to an absence?
Two things you can do of you miss a quiz or test, is to sign up for the next available make-up session
on the Moodle Make-up Scheduler, AND then you MUST email your teacher to let her know that you
missed a test/quiz and for when scheduled the make-up.
3. Paste a snippet of the informational section on my MySJA page for make-up tests.

4. Paste a second snippet of what it actually looks like when you get into the make-up scheduler (be sure
to copy and paste the link into a new tab to open it).

5. If you have an essay due on a Friday, but you forget to turn it in on Friday and instead turn it in
Monday, what is the highest possible grade that you can earn?
The highest grade I can earn is a B.
6. If you finish an assignment, test or quiz early in my class, what should you do with your extra time?
If you finish an assignment early, you are either to work on your journal, a long-running assignment or
take out your independent reading book.
 7. If you are absent the day homework is assigned, for when are you expected to have the homework
completed?
You are supposed to have the homework completed the following day.
8. If you are absent on the day that I collect a homework assignment, whose responsibility is it to make
sure that I receive your homework (either via email or given to me in class) so that you can get credit
for it?
I am responsible to make sure that you receive my homework, so that I can get credit.

10. Paste a snippet of the requirements for Membean (the vocabulary program you will be using here at
SJA) from my MySJA page.

11. How many minutes of Membean must you complete in a two week period? How many minutes can
you complete in one day?
50 Membean minutes must be completed every two weeks. You can do 30 minutes in one day.
