Application
The automatic Dielectric Goods Tester
СВС-50C / СВС-100C is applied for acceptance
and maintenance testing of dielectric means of
protection, including safety gloves, safety boots,

tools with insulated handles, and other live line
tools utilized for personnel protection. The
broader application of the СВС-50C / СВС-100C
systems is AC testing of dielectric materials.
Test Results
An object under test is considered to have
failed dielectric testing if, during a test sequence, a
dielectric breakdown occurs. After running a test,
the user can view the results with information on
the peak voltage and test duration.
Testing frequency
It is generally advised that the integrity of
dielectric materials should be checked prior to
first issue and every 6 months while in operation.
If a means of electrical protection has not been
used for some time, it is to be retested in order to
verify the integrity of the material.
