Global Warming Effect

1. Disease Outbreak
The increase in temperature due to global warming can result in decreased immunity
of living things. As a result, living things including humans are susceptible to disease.

2. The Polar Ice Is Melting

The increase in the earth's temperature causes the ice at the poles to melt. Thus, the
ice there will also increase the volume of sea water.

3. Water Quality is Decreasing

Rainfall that is too high can reduce the quality of air sources. In addition, the
increase in temperature also affects the level of chlorine in clean water.

4. Reduced Water Quantity

Global warming does increase the amount of water in the atmosphere and can
increase rainfall. Although this can increase the number of sources of clean water,
too much rainfall also has an impact on increasing the possibility of water returning
directly to the sea. This means that air does not have time to be stored for human
use.

5. Sea Water Temperatures Increase

Not only will the temperature increase on the earth's surface, the sea temperature
will also increase due to global warming. This can also cause living things in the sea
to die and disrupt the balance of the ecosystem.

6. Smog
Increasing the temperature on the earth's surface can cause drought and forest fires.
Haze from forest fires is also harmful to the health of living things.

7. Sea Levels Rise

The melting of ice at the Earth's poles can encourage flooding around it. Small
islands can also sink as a result of this.

Solutions for Dealing with Global Warming

1. Use Public Transportation & Bikes

The first way to deal with global warming is to limit the use of cars and motorcycles
only for long distances, for short distances you can walk or use a bicycle. Meanwhile,
to go to a longer distance, if possible, use mass public transportation, such as the
busway and train. This would limit the increase in carbon dioxide and carbon
monoxide in the atmosphere.

2. Minimize the Use of Equipment Containing CFCs

An easy way to deal with global warming is CFC (Cloro Four Carbon) which are
compounds containing carbon atoms with chlorine and fluorine bonded to them.
CFCs are generally produced by air conditioning equipment, please note that
currently CFCs contribute 20% to the process of the greenhouse effect.

3. Turn off Electronic Devices when Not in Use

The third way to deal with global warming is to turn off lights, fans, air conditioners,
computers, TVs, and all electronic devices when not in use.

4. Save Water

The fourth way to overcome global warming is to save water use.

5. Reuse

The fifth way to deal with global warming is to use ceramic or glass coffee cups, not
disposable cups like those made of plastic and Styrofoam. Reuse plastic bags and
other storage containers.

6. Reduce

The sixth way to overcome global warming is to save on the use of paper and tissue
because they are made of wood which must be cut down from trees in the forest,
while forests are needed to neutralize CO2 emissions in the air. The 3R activity
stages which consist of Reduce, Reuse and Recycle can help prevention
of global warming.

7. Recycle

The seventh way to deal with global warming is to use clothes made from
environmentally friendly materials. Use recycled bags to save the environment.

8. Become a Vegetarian

The eighth way to overcome global warming is to become a vegetarian. According to

a recent study, the best and easiest thing that can be done to improve the condition
of the planet is to eliminate meat and dairy products from the diet. Considering that
the global population is expected to reach a scale of 10 billion in 2060, researchers
also analyze the environmental impact caused by production and consumption of
food by humans. The idea behind this research is to help inform food producers and
consumers about better ways to reduce their impact on the planet.

9. Planting Trees (Reforestation)

The tenth way to overcome global warming is by planting trees. Let's start planting
trees in the yard (Go Green). Planting trees can also reduce the risk of flooding
which is one of the effects of Global Warming.

10. Campaign to Protect Nature and the Environment

Spread knowledge about climate change and educate others. Teach as many people
as possible to respect and take care of nature and the environment. Take time to
provide information or get involved in social activities to help love the Earth.
