recently revealed insights into Indonesian travel trends for this year’s Idul Fitri. Wego

year’s top destination of Bandung for hotel searches, and the city features as one of the
most notable movers this year, increasing 78 percent over 2014,” Hills explained.

searches to Yogyakarta escalating by 342 percent.
Regarding accommodation options, Indonesians tended to seek higher ranked
properties, while taking advantage of cheaper airfares. In 2014, more than half of Wego’s
Indonesian users sought three-star accommodation listings, but surprisingly this year we’ve
seen a shift toward higher rated hotels. Domestic airfare searches rallied in mid-June, and
while average hotel rates seemed to trend a little higher closer to Idul Fitri, the overall
average price of airfares were around ten percent lower this year,” Hills continued.

Last year, my familiy and I visited our relatives in Greece. Well, we flew to Athnes
via Singapore. After flying for two hours from Athnes, we arrived in Hydra where our
relatives were. The interesting thing about Hydra is that no vehicle are allowed. We
have to walk to get anywhere. People often get around on horses of mules. After
Hydra, we visited Satorini by ferry. Then, we took a high speed catamaran to
Mykonos. At least in Mykonos they have taxis and buses so we did not have to walk
to go anywhere. From Mykonos we flew to the island of Skiathos where we spent a
lovely week visiting beach and eating wonderful Greek food. Finnaly, it was time to
