 There are five sections in this practice paper. The tests include questions
on Verbal Reasoning, Maths and Non-Verbal Reasoning.
 The time allowed is given at the start of each section.
 Answers should be clearly marked in pencil on the answer sheet, in the
space provided.
 Use a separate sheet of paper for workings out.
 If you make a mistake, rub it out and insert your new answer.
 If you are not sure of an answer, choose the one you think would be
best, do not leave it blank.
 There are 100 questions and you will have 45 minutes to complete the
test.

7 In a bag, there are strawberry sweets and lemon sweets. There are 2 strawberry sweets for every 3
lemon sweets. If there are 24 lemon sweets in the bag, how many strawberry sweets are there in

8 There were 12 children going to a bowling party. They all had to take their shoes off and change into
bowling shoes. Their shoe sizes were 2, 5, 6, 4, 3, 2, 3, 4, 3, 5, 3, 3. What is the mode of these sizes?

There are 32 national football teams travelling to the World Cup in Brazil. They have all been sorted into
8 groups of 4 teams. England is in group D, along with Uruguay, Costa Rica and Italy. If the top two
