Narrative Report For Brigada Eskwela 2022

Date: August 1-26,2022

Introduction:

The activities conducted during the Brigada Eskwela 2022 in Guinpana-an


National High School-Odiong Ext. The aim of this program is to engage parents,
teachers, and community member, stakeholders,students in preparing the school
facilities and ensuring a conducive learning environment for the upcoming school
year.

Preparation and Planning:

The planning for Brigada Eskwela started weeks before the actual event. The
Brigada Eskwela Coordinators and the Adopt-a-School Coordinator sent an
invitation letters to the stakeholders, Organizations, LGU’s, Private individuals,
community leaders, and volunteers, to coordinate the tasks and allocate resources
efficiently. The committee identified the priority areas that needed attention,
including the classrooms, offices, library, canteen, and playground.

On the first day of Brigada Eskwela, the participants gathered at the school
premises with great enthusiasm. The school started with the program. To provided
them with a brief orientation about the goals and objectives of the program.
Volunteers were assigned specific tasks based on their interests and skills.

Cleaning and Repairs:

The cleaning activities commenced in full swing. Volunteers armed with


brooms, mops, and cleaning supplies, worked diligently to remove dirt, dust, and
cobwebs from the classrooms and offices. They also washed the windows, scrubbed
the floors, and sanitized the restrooms. Another team focused on repainting the
walls and furniture. The committee had secured paint donations from generous
individuals and local businesses. The vibrant colors breathed new life into the
classrooms, creating a more vibrant and engaging atmosphere for the students.

In parallel, a group of skilled volunteers repaired broken desks, chairs, and


shelves. They fixed faulty electrical sockets, replaced broken window panes, and
patched up the cracks in the walls. These efforts aimed to ensure the safety and
functionality of the school infrastructure.

Aside from the indoor tasks, a team was assigned to beautify the school grounds.
They trimmed overgrown grass, planted colorful flowers, and established a small
garden. The addition of greenery enhanced the overall ambiance of the school,
providing students with a pleasant environment to learn and play.

Community Engagement:

The success of Brigada Eskwela lies in the active participation of the community
members. Local businesses and organizations donated materials and financial
support, demonstrating their commitment to education. Parents and guardians
also joined the efforts, contributing their time, skills, and resources to ensure a
meaningful impact on the school.

Closing Ceremony:

After days of hard work, a closing ceremony was held to celebrate the collective
achievements. The school administration, committee members, and volunteers
gathered to recognize and appreciate everyone's dedication and contributions.
Certificates of appreciation were distributed to acknowledge the efforts of the
individuals and groups involved.

was a resounding success, thanks to the collaborative efforts of the committee,
parents, teachers, community members, Stakeholders, students, and volunteers.
The school facilities were revitalized, creating an inviting and conducive learning
environment for the students. The program not only improved the physical
infrastructure but also fostered a sense of ownership and community engagement
among all stakeholders.As the narrative report comes to an end, it is evident that
Brigada Eskwela is not just a mere cleanup and repair activity but an avenue to
instill the importance of collective responsibility and community involvement in
ensuring the success of our educational institutions.
