is Francis Valentin from Sagay District 1 Travel and tours and I’m your tour guide for today.
Before anything else let’s pray for the divine protection. Our heavenly Father, we thank you for
every blessing that we received, preserve those who travel; surround them with your loving
care; protect them from every danger; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen. Now let’s have a
headcount, starting from you sir, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. Great we are now complete including me. Do you
see this Green flag? If you saw me raising this and hear a whistle, it means that we should
gather and get to our next destination. I want everyone to pay close attention to me, let’s stay in
group, and take care of your belongings. We also have a first aid Kit here incase of emergency.

Charrr. Today we are going to Brgy Bulanon and we’ll visit 3 tourist spots. Just a little trivia po,
Bulanon" is a word in HILIGAYNON REFERING TO THE THE MOONLIGHT. From sagay
city proper to brgy bulanon, you’ll just spend 25 pesos riding a tricycle.
Our first stop po is in Purok mahogany, the Fish cage OF BULANON FARM SCHOOL.
Vamonos! Let’s go. 3 minutes from school and we arrived in the port area going to the Fish
cage. Before anything else safety first po tayo, let us wear our lifejackets. And we are ready!
Notte Kudasai! Tara na at sumakay! Going to the FISH cage, you can enjoy the beautiful views
of the mangroves. The livelihood of the people living here in Brgy Bulanon is more on fishery-
related livelihood. Different schools all over the Region already went here and conducted
benchmarking in the Fish cage. The things you can do here in the Fish cage are, swimming in
the warm-salty sea, fish feeding and taking pictures with the beautiful mangroves as your
background. Currently, BFS Fish cage has 5,000 Bangus fingerlings and after 4-5 months it will
be harvested. After harvesting, the fish can be sold to nearby floating cottages and businessmen.
It helps the business community in buying and selling products locally.

in BFS fish cage. Now let’s go to our next destination. The LAPUS LAPUS FLOATING
COTTAGE in Bulanon hayai!.A 5-minute tricycle ride from Bulanon Farm School going to
purok ipil ipil of brgy bulanon. The current president of the association is Mr Joefel relos.
Their cottage rent-price is 2500 pesos that includes boat transportation, and which is good for
20 persons. They are open from Monday-Sunday 7am until 6pm. If you like a little adventure,
Be amaze in the maze of mangrove for 500 pesos kayak tour in their mangrove area. You can
take videos and selfies on your kayak tour . One good thing is , You can bring your own food
and drinks without paying corkage fee. Fresh seafoods are available here, pasayan, lukon, isda,
kasag, scallops, kag talaba. There is an Improvised swimming pool for kids.For reservations
po, you can contact sagay tourism destinations on their Facebook page, or the facebook page of
lapus lapus floating cottage.

FLOATING COTTAGE, Now let’s go to our third and last destination in Bulanon. The one and
only RV’s Mangrove Café. A 5-minute tricycle ride From Purok ipil-ipil going to Purok Talisay.
The RV's Mangrove Cafe was established in the year 2022. The environmental fee po
natin is 20 pesos for adults and 10 pesos for kids. RV’s is open From Monday to Sunday- 8am
until 10pm. A little trivia about RV’s: Before RV's Mangrove Cafe became popular, they
usually called it as taytay, the R stands for Romel and V stands for Virgina.
Now RV’s already have a clothing Apparel for only 300 pesos. They also have a karaoke
for 5 pesos per song. . The RV's Mangrove Cafe have cottages that is made of bamboo which
you can rent. Amounting to 1000pesos – upto 2500 pesos, depending on the size of the cottage.
They also have a magnificent Hanging bridge where they take some photos of their visitors and
post it on their social media page as a gratitude for visiting there. If you want to stay for
overnight, for 5000 pesos you can sleep on their Family Hotel which is good for 5 persons
They serve coffee, street foods, drinks, seafoods like Adobong pusit, Boiled scallops,
buttered garlic shrimp and many more. Currently the Salon and spa of RV’s are under
construction and they can guarantee that in the near future there will be more things that you
can do and relax here in RV’s Mangrove Café.
