    PTO - Operation of Tower Crane

    CHECKPOINTS CHECK

    1. Crane erected by competent, certified person?


    2. Operator trained, appointed and medically fit?

    3. PPE for workers: hard hat, overalls safety boots?

    4. Two-way radios available?

    5. Pre-use inspection carried as required and checklists completed?

    6. Pre-shift checks conducted and checklists completed?

    7. Post-shift checks conducted and checklists completed?

    8. All required certification available and filed?

    9. Required 6 monthly and annual checks conducted?

    10. Safe lifting practices being observed?

    11. Safe slewing practices?

    12. Any slewing over public?

    13. Banksmen trained and competent?

    14. Good communication between banksmen and operator?

    OK All in order.
