1. Operator trained and competent – no authorized person allowed to operate?

2. Pre- use equipment check conducted including fuel system, blades?

3. Necessary weekly and three monthly checks conducted?

4. Correct PPE used: hard hat, rubber boots, specs, leather gloves and overall?

5. Fire extinguisher at close proximity?

6. Work area cleared of obstructions and loose objects?

7. Are clear of other workers at least 5m radius?

8. Machine being operated correctly i.e. level ground?
