You were able to answer the activity by using illustrations given and descriptive
words.
Descriptive Words are the words that describe people’s traits, feelings or
emotions, places, and events.

Example: Elena is pretty.

Lisa is helpful.
Marlon is honest.

We can also describe a person character through their physical characteristics. Like
hair and eye color, height, size, facial feature and even clothing. For someone’s age,
you may use the following.
- young
- old
- senior
- youth

Positive traits like being kind, polite and honest are some descriptive words we can
use. (ESP, FILIPINO)

For this to understand better, we somehow provides illustrations. Illustration gives

clear description and details prevailing traits of the character.

Example #1:

Elena loves helping at home. She waters the plants and dusts their
furniture. She helps her mother cook in the kitchen.

How do you describe the girl in the picture? (HOTS)

What positive traits did she possess? (learners will answer randomly)
Example #2:

How about this one? A boy crossing the streets using pedestrian lane.
(Learners will answer randomly)

Meanwhile illustrations like signage/s that we see on streets help us become

more aware of the things around us.

Here are some examples:

Valuing:
Everyone of us have different traits. We can describe a character traits through
one’s action, words, and thought. Having positive traits help us provides our community
peacefulness. Such as the means in avoiding accidents, like when crossing streets, we
must use the pedestrian lane.
