HOMICIDE
Homicide is the unlawful killing of another human being. It is a serious crime with a devastating
impact on victims, families, and communities. Homicide can take many forms, including murder,
manslaughter, and negligent homicide.
Homicide is a complex issue with a variety of contributing factors. Some of the most common risk
factors for homicide include poverty, unemployment, substance abuse, gang membership, domestic
violence, mental illness, and easy access to guns.
Despite the complexity of the issue, there is a vast body of research on homicide. Researchers
have studied the risk factors for homicide, the motivations of perpetrators, the impact of homicide on
victims and families, and the effectiveness of prevention and intervention strategies.
In this research exploration, we embark on a journey into the world of homicide, seeking to unravel
its multifaceted nature, understand the motivations and psychological underpinnings behind this
extreme act, dissect the societal implications of homicide, and evaluate the evolving mechanisms of
investigation, prosecution, and prevention. As we delve into the depths of this profound subject, we
aim to shed light on the complex tapestry of human existence, where life and death converge, and
where the pursuit of justice and understanding confronts the darkest corners of the human
experience.

Over the course of Phillpine history, several remarkable crime cases about homicide have captured
