    ASSIGNMENT 1 (25%)

    AUTOCAD FLOORPLAN

    OBJECTIVE :
    The objective of this assignment is to:
    • be able to demonstrate basic AutoCad software by creating
    orthographic drawings of a small house.
    DDWR 2432 • be able to communicate with lecturers on your understanding
    BASIC about the software by showing progress
    ARCHITECTURAL
    COMPUTING YOUR TASK :
    • Draw and complete the given floor plan and apply all technical
    SEM 1 2023/2024 drawing techniques (refer to ATTACHMENT A & B).
    • You are allowed to modify the floor plan to your liking, however
    the changes must be contained within the existing size of the
    floor plan.
    • Drawing scale is 1:75

    ASSIGNMENT DURATION :
    • 3.5 weeks (Dateline: Week 4)

    SOFTWARE :
    • Autodesk AutoCAD 2020 version & above.

    SUBMISSION REQUIREMENT :

    • A3 size landscape of your floor plan.


    • Proper architecture title block.
    • Submit both hardcopy a3 paper & softcopy
    AutoCAD file (dwg.)
