INT. LIVING ROOM - DAY

LISA, A teenager, late teens, sits on her phone scrolling.

TINA, early twenties, sitting beside Lisa.

As two best friends sit in the living room talking, a genie

lamp appears on the table.

LISA
Ugh, I wish I could have whatever I
want whenever I want.

TINA
(giggling)
Try getting a job, then you can get
whatever you want.

A cloud of smoke comes up from the table, with a lamp behind

it.

LISA
Woah, what is that?

Tina begins to walk toward the lamp.

TINA
It looks like one of those genie lamps
from that one Disney movie.

LISA
OMG, I literally can get anything I
want now, how many wishes do you think
I have?

Tina uncomfortably picks the lamp up to read it.

TINA
On the side here it is engraved as
unlimited.

LISA
This came a the perfect time, I'm the
luckiest person ever.

TINA
You still want to be careful, I've
seen lots of movies when people get
too carried away.

LISA
Don't be such a party pooper. This
won't be like the movies.

TINA
So what will your first wish be?

LISA
Well, I've always wanted a car...
Magic genie lamp, I wish for a car!

TINA
(smiling tightly)
Look at that! Their is lots of smoke
outside, it must be your car in the
parking lot!

CUT TO:

EXT. PARKING LOT - DAY

As a cloud of smoke appears, revealing a car behind it.

LISA
(smiling hard)
Yay, I am so excited.

TINA
Do you even know how to drive Lisa?

LISA
Let's find out!

Lisa drives off in the car, visibly showing she does not know
how to drive.

CUT TO:

INT. LIVING ROOM - DAY

Lisa and Tina sit by the lamp, still in shock that it

actually worked.

TINA
(excited)
I can' t believe you actually have a
car now.

LISA
Same, I would have never had one this
early if it wasn't for this special

I can't think of anything that I want.

LISA
It can be anything, seriously Tina

TINA
(looking unsure)
Your right, I guess I want ... All A's
this semester.

A cloud of smoke appears, With a sheet of paper behind it.

TINA
Wait what's that?

LISA
It looks like a report card or
something.

Lisa holds the report card reading it.

TINA
Wow! I now have a 4.0. This is crazy
what this lamp can do.

LISA
Im so ready to wish for something
else.

TINA
Remember to be smart about it Lisa, we
can't get too out of hand.

LISA
(annoyed)
Geez Tina, you sound like my mom!

LISA
(screaming)
Magic Lamp! Give me a cat, but not any
cat, I want a hypoallergenic cat, but
with hair, and to be black and white.

TINA
Why are you so specific, will it even
give you every single detail. Also
your not even allowed a cat.

A cloud of smoke appears revealing a cat behind it.

LISA
(shrieking)
She is so cute, This is literally the
best day ever!

TINA
She is really adorable Lisa, but what
are you going to tell your mom?

LISA
(giggling)
Um, I won't. I'll just tell her I'm
just watching your cat.

TINA
(looking confused)
What do you mean? I don't have a cat.

LISA
I'll just lie, its no big deal.

TINA
This isn't looking good. I think we
should stop now before it gets bad.

LISA
We are fine! Just say your next wish.

TINA
I'm just gonna sick this time. Im
scared for something to happen.

LISA
(excited)
Well... I'll just go again. Genie lamp
are you ready?

TINA
(anxious)
You don't think it's time to stop?

LISA
Nope, Magic Lamp I wish for an
unlimited credit card.

TINA
No! How will you pay it back?

Thats why its a wish! I don't have to
pay it back.

CUT TO:

INT. KITCHEN - DAY

A cloud of smoke appears and reveals a credit card behind it.

LISA
Perfect! Let's head to the mall.

TINA
No! Im done with this. I think we just
need to sleep all of this off.

LISA
Why would I sleep when I can just wish
to stay up forever?

TINA
You need to see all of this with a
clear mind Lisa.

LISA
(rolling eyes)
Whatever you say Tina.

INT. LIVING ROOM - NIGHT

The two girls fall asleep on the couch.

TINA
Lisa! Wake up!

LISA
(sleepily)
What now?

TINA
The lamp is gone. And so is your car,
cat, and credit card.

LISA
(crying)
How could this be? I shouldn't have
went to sleep!

TINA
It will be fine Lisa. These things
