NARRATIVE REPORT ON SMEPA


(SCHOOL MONITORING, EVALUATION, AND PLAN ADJUSTMENT)
SY 2022-2023

On September 19, 2023, at precisely 3:00 in the afternoon, Luyahan Elementary School convened the School
Monitoring, Evaluation, and Plan Adjustment (SMEPA) meeting. The event was initiated by the dedicated school
principal, Mrs. Caroline L. Faminiano. This meeting was a significant gathering, attended by the entire faculty, as well
as the presidents from each grade level of every section. The purpose of this meeting was to discuss and assess various
aspects of the school's performance and progress.

Mrs. Caroline L. Faminiano commenced the meeting by providing an overview of the progress made in
implementing various educational programs during the previous school year. She highlighted the successful
execution of initiatives such as the integration of technology in teaching, the implementation of remedial classes for
struggling students, and the efforts to improve student attendance rates.

The principal then presented comparative data on enrollment, which included a breakdown on the number of
students from different section on every grade level. The data indicated a steady increase in enrollment, with particular
emphasis on inclusive education. This highlighted the school's commitment to providing quality education for all
learners.

Mrs. Faminiano shared information about the nutritional status of the students, emphasizing the importance of
the school's feeding program. The data indicated a positive improvement in the overall health and nutritional well-
being of the students.

The school principal addressed the reading and numeracy levels of the students. She reported on the progress
achieved in enhancing these crucial skills among the students. Mrs. Faminiano acknowledged the efforts of the
teachers in implementing effective teaching strategies.

The meeting also delved into governance and school-based management, highlighting the collaboration between

school's leadership and faculty to provide a nurturing educational environment for the students. The shared
commitment of all stakeholders towards the betterment of the school was evident throughout the meeting.

As the meeting concluded, it was clear that Luyahan Elementary School was on a path of continuous
improvement, with a strong focus on enhancing the educational experience and outcomes for all students. The
collaborative efforts of the school community, including the faculty, parents, and community members, would
undoubtedly contribute to the school's continued success in the years to come.
