BUILDING SKY TRAIN


In recent years, building sky train has become increasingly widespread among the public.
Nevertheless, the negative aspects of this issue are not widely known by many people.
This essay will examine both benefits and drawbacks of this regard.

On the one hand, there are numerous positive aspects of building sky train. First and
foremost, it can be seen that it is a great way to reduce traffic congestion in urban areas. It
means that it provides an alternative to use private vehicles, sky trains can help decrease
traffic jams on the road. Specifically, the sky train can be a choice for people who need to
be at work or have an appointment on time. Furthermore, it is true that sky trains can be
faster than other forms of public transportation. That is because they have their overhead
tubes in the building. To illustrate, during rush hours, sky trains will not get stuck so they
can save a great deal of time.

On the other hand, building sky train has several negative aspects. To begin with, it is
obvious that the high construction costs. In other words, sky trains need a huge cost to
construct overhead tubes. Moreover, sky trains require regular maintenance and
operation, which can be expensive. The second weakness is that noise and visual impacts.
It means that sky trains can generate noise pollution, especially when they pass through
residential areas. For instance, when people are working or studying, it can make them
distracted and feel uncomfortable.

In conclusion, building sky train has its own merits and demerits. Its drawbacks should be
taken into account carefully. It is advisable that the government encourage people to use
the sky train more frequently to decrease traffic problems.
