Assertion : An ‘assertion’ is a statement that has conviction based on some other facts which

are termed as ‘reasons’.

A statement made with a strong belief on a strong reason is called ‘Assertion’.

In this test, two statements referred to as the Assertion (A) and Reason (R) respectively are
provided. Five alternative comments on these are given and the correct one is to be chosen.

In each of the following questions, there are two statements labelled as Assertion (A) and
Reason (R).

Mark your answer as per the following options:
