food crew, and school jobs. Filipino students are straining because they have to meet the

Time management can be a challenge when you are juggling work and school. Whether you are
working to put yourself through college or you are someone who is going back to school to
advance your current career, managing time in your professional and academic life is no easy
task, especially when you have additional responsibilities competing for your time, such as
raising children. The problem is not a lack of time—it’s how people manage that time that
matters the most. This will enable you to handle conflicting obligations at work and keep up
with impending chores to avoid falling behind. Purchase a large desk calendar or hang one on
your wall as a visual reminder of these important dates is an efficient method to supplement
reminders on your phone or work laptop.

THEORETRICAL AND CONCEPTUAL FRAMEWORK

According to the conclusions of the study done by Williams (2014), the reasons why students
work is due to fiscal need, satisfy a quick or basic necessary, and to support the understudies in
their future aims. This was supported by the study of Furr and Elling (2002), where the reason
why the students work part-time is owing to financial difficulty. Aside from these causes, there
were also disadvantages of working while studying and that is according to the conclusions of
the study of Darolia (2014), where understudies take less qualities in school because of work
commitments. As a result, the students’ lost confidence to enroll and are dropping college and
starting to search a solid employment.
This study based upon pickle jar theory which is the most relevant and modern theory of time
management studied in administration course. Wright (2002) proposed the idea of jar theory
that focuses on time management (Olubor & Osunde, 2007). This theory indicates that human
beings need to be create balance among items and activities while applying time management
approaches successfully. Time is about dispersed for distinct pursuits and tasks fit well where
they are relied upon to fit. People have numerous needs in lives, for example, academics, work
stress, and family commitments. The main issue is that how a person manages all tasks and
tackle challenges on time. It is extremely crucial for students to manage time and perform all
chores linked to studying. Effective utilization of time influences the achievement of students at
each level not just in normal system as well as distant learning institutions. In distance
education, students control all things timely.
The following is the figure of conceptual framework of the study.
