1- Video Presentation on Team of 3-4 students to study the ancient Greek “Constellations in the Night Sky” mythology behind selected astronomical object (Ursa Major, Pleiades, Cassiopeia and Pegasus) and submit a 5-7 minutes video elaborating the mythical story. The video can be of students performing an act, or a presentation with voice over, a song or any creative idea for the video is welcome. (Urdu or English language can be used for the video) 2- Designing a Space Suit Team of 3-4 students to design a Space Suit using easily available material considering the harsh space environment and submit a 3-4 min video explaining what materials are chosen and how the space suit is fit for space conditions. 3- Video Presentation on “Role of Team of 3-4 students to study the role of space Space Technology in addressing technology in addressing the different challenges at challenges at earth” earth and submit a 5-7 minutes video presentation with voice over clearly explaining how space technology makes life on earth easy. 4- Space Theater Team of 3-4 students to record 4-5 minutes role play on how an astronaut will survive when gets stuck on a deserted planet and comes across life on that planet. 5- Designing/ Making a Colony on the Team of max 3-4 students to design/ make a model of Moon a colony on moon for survival of humans with necessities (food, water, shelter etc) and submit a 3-4 min video of the model with a voice over.
Rules & Guidelines:
1. Competition is open for school students only
2. Interested students may participate in the competition as a team of maximum four students. 3. One school can nominate one team for one challenge. However, a school can take part in one, two or all the challenges. 4. The judgment of the videos will be based on focus of the presentation, clarity and coherence of content, clarity of idea, effective use of facts, stats and details, effective use of images and creativity. Inclusion of SEAD and WSW logos and clear mentioning of the theme of WSW 2023 is must for an entry to be considered for evaluation. 5. The contest entries must be submitted by a designated teacher who shall be the focal person for any further correspondence, at wsw.sead.pakistan@gmail.com clearly mentioning category of contest in the subject, name and address of school and names of participating students in the body of the email by 21 Oct 2023.
