Activity 4.1 Write a short story. Describe what happened and what the characters
looked like.

Eric had a crazy day yesterday. First, he woke up too late. He didn’t have time to get ready for
work. Next, he missed his bus, so he was late for work. When he came to the office, other
employees looked at him strangely. It was because his hair was messy, and he was wearing his
sweater wrong. His boss called him for a meeting. He didn’t look happy. He looked angry. He was
angry because Eric didn’t remember to finish his project. After that, Eric worked hard. He wanted
to finish the project. He had to stay at work late. He came home at 11 p.m. He had dinner. Then,
he went to bed. Today Eric looks very tired.
