BSP ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT

I. INTRODUCTION

This year, due to Covid-19 Pandemic, face-to-face classes are postponed. Along with
this is the postponement of the activities in school, district, and division level where many
pupils can get involved. This is to protect teachers and pupils from Covid-19 and prevent the
spread of the virus.
One of the anticipated activities each school year is the BSP Encampment where
pupils get excited to perform the different scouting events whether it is a school-based
Encampment or a Division BSP Jamboree.
Scouting is a value laden activity which is very important part of student’s life. It
builds a character that is useful to the community and the society. It imparts learning and
teaches skills that are useful in the daily life. The learning that being taught in scouting helps
the individual student to be fruitful and beneficial in nation building.
With the initiative of the Department of Education to commemorate and celebrate the
Legacy of Lord Baden Powell, the Founder, and to rekindle the Scouting spirit and values,
BSP activities are encouraged in this time of global pandemic. However, these are to be
done by the pupils at home and online while observing health protocols.

II. ACCOMPLISHMENTS
1. Registered pupils and teachers in the BSP.
2. Slogan making to give thanks to the frontliners and shared them in social media.
3. Engage pupils in different activities at home such as doing household chores and
studying.
4. Wearing of BSP uniform on Fridays.
5. Tree planting at school ground participated by teachers, pupils and parents while
observing health protocols.
