 INTRODUCTION

2.1 BACKGROUND

Vocational School is a level of education that prioritizes developing students' abilities to be

able to work in certain fields, the ability to adapt to the work environment, see job
opportunities and be able to develop oneself in the era of globalization. Vocational school
organize education and training in various skills programs in accordance with industry
professional association/business world group programs. The types of fields and expertise
programs are determined by the Director General of Primary and Secondary Education.

The aim on job training is an activity that can improve the knowledge, discipline,
responsibility, honesty and technology obtained by vocational schools in conditions outside
or in the field.

The vocational school 1 Talaga majoring in Computer and Networking Engineering (TKJ)
Majalengka Regency aims to produce skilled personnel in the future industrial era in order to
produce skilled graduates who are able to carry out tasks in their fields, especially industrial
technology.

2.2 PURPUSE AND OBJECTIVE ON JOB TRAINING

The aim of carrying out this on job training is of course to have a positive impact on students
who take part in this job training activity. Here are some goals on job training :

1. Produce workers who are capable of having professional skills, workers who have the
knowledge, skills and work ethic that suit the demands of the world of work.
2. Increase alignment (Link and Match) between educational institutions and the industrial
world.
3. Train discipline and responsibility for the work carried out.
2.3 BENEFIT ACTIVITY

The benefits of holding street vendors activities are:

1. Fostering good cooperative relationships between schools with companies.

2. Foster a sense of togetherness and family between one school with another.
3. Prepare students mentally to enter the world of work so that students have
sufficient readiness.
2.4 TIME AND PLACE

On job training at PT len Industri (Persero) Jl. Soekarno Hatta No. 442, Pasirluyu,
Kec.Regol, Bandung City, West Java 40254.
3.1 Basic theory

3.1.1 Microsoft Outlook Understanding

Microsoft Outlook is one of the most widely used mail client applications today. In
addition to being used friendly, email settings to Outlook can also be used for email
storage and clicks in the device used, so it can be an alternative solution for email
space issues.

The main function of Microsoft Outlook is to send, receive, or read the incoming
email messages. But in addition, Microsoft Outlook has another function you can
apply, from making work schedule, calendar, and note.

3.1.2 Excess and Disadvantages of Microsoft Outlook

Although Microsoft Outlook has many advanced features in it, but this app still
has some advantages and disadvantages.

Not infrequently users know what exception and disadvantage of using this
Microsoft Outlook. In a software / program certainly has its advantages and
disadvantages. Each and Microsoft Outlook as well. Related to its own advantages it
is no doubt. Given this software provides many more advantages of the application.
Among them are as follows.

3.1.4 UNTERNATION AND SMTP FUNCTION

SMTP is one of the standard protocols on the Internet network used for email
delivery from local email to mail servers until it is sent to the recipient's email address.

As we have known, SMTP is a protocol. Then what is the protocol? The protocol
can be said to be a bridge. For example, in between the computers can communicate
with each other with other computers, a standard rule and instruction that can be run
by each computer. These rules and instructions are called the protocol.

At SMTP there are 3 ports used. The differences from the three ports are in terms
of encryption used. Port 25 is used for Non SSL, port 587 for TLS and 465 for SSL.
But by some ISP, Port 25 has been closed because it is considered dangerous with
the discomplete encoding module.

If you have a website in which there is a contact or email delivery to the visitor's
email address, then need to do the SMTP setting on the website. SMTP here works
for email delivery from the website to the destination email address.
3.1.5 Microsoft Outlook Configuration at PT Len

1. First of all Connect K / PC Laptop into Len Network in a way, LAN cable plug or
entering WiFi Len (then open the browser then type as in the image below,

4. After Zimbra login, go to the Control Panel menu (click Mail (Microsoft Outlook)
5. Select an account email
6. Select the Email menu that will be configured and then click New
7. Next select the "Manual Setup or Additional Server Types" menu (click Next
8. In the Choose Service Select Choose POP or IMAP and click Next
9. Then fill in the account information form and adjust to the following image

10. Then select the Outgoing Server menu and check "My Outgoing Server (SMTP)
requies authentication" because PT Len uses SMTP protocol
11. Next select the Advanced menu and adjust the IMAP and SMTP settings with the
following images,

4.1 Conclusion
On job training is an educational, training and learning activity carried out in the
business world or industrial world that is relevant to students' competencies (abilities)
according to their field. On job training aims to enable students to do internships in a
workplace in either the business or industrial world so that they at least gain basic
knowledge that they will apply in the business or industrial world after graduating. The
benefit of on job training itself is to introduces students to field work in the industrial and
business world so that when the time comes they enter the real job market.

4.2 Suggestion

4.2.1 For school

In providing physical and mental material, it should be further improved, especially for mental
development of students.
4.2.2 For companies
It is hoped that cooperation between schools and companies will be further improved by
providing more opportunities for vocational school students for on job training. For
employees, their motivation and discipline at work is further increased.

4.2.3 For students

For juniors who will later carry out on job training activities, they should prepare everything
carefully, especially for public speaking, mental and material that has been taught at school,
because all of this will definitely be related to future internship activities. Protect the good
name of yourself, your family and your school.
