DETAILS OF THE ACTIVITY

Description of the activity:

The FVR National High School held the Third Quarter General Assembly and Distribution of Cards for
the School Year 2022-2023. The said activity aims to give updates to the parents and guardians about the
P.T.A.`s programs and projects as well as the policies and current issues in the academe. Moreover, the
advisers had a chance to talk with parents and guardians about their children’s academic performance and
award the certificate of recognition to the students who excelled excellently.
Objectives:
1. Convene parents and teachers about the P.T.A.`s project.
2. Recognize students` meritorious achievement/s.
3. Provide feedback to parents and guardians about the learners` academic progress.
4. Address parents` concerns and issues.

Highlights (Insights / relevant learning/issues and concerns):

The General Assembly for the Third Quarter was facilitated by the Science Department and
spearheaded by Mrs. Meriam H. Roldan, Head Teacher III in Science. The program was hosted by Mrs.
Marivic A. Barcellano, Teacher I-Science. Before the orientation began, the parents had signed their
attendance in the registration area. The program started with a prayer led by Mrs. Marieflor SD. Pascual,
Teacher III-Science. It was followed by a welcome remarks by our Principal II, Dr. Minerva M. Sikat,
followed by a Message from the P.T.A. President, Mrs. Carmencita Sanchez. The discussion of the P.T.A
project update was presented by Mrs. Aileen Perez, P.T.A. Treasurer. The closing remarks were rendered by
Mrs. Meriam H. Roldan, Head Teacher III of the English Department. After the general assembly, the
parents proceeded to the 10-Onyx classroom for the distribution of cards, informing the parents about the
students` behavior and class standing, and the awarding of certificates to all the academic achievers for the
Third Quarter.
