We want God to be in our lives but won’t give Him first place

We make excuses for our sin and dare to call it grace

We make the time to fit God in as long as it works out
We’re not indifferent, but we’re not devout

We live just like the world, and yet we say we love the Lord
We talk about religion but we rarely read His Word
We’re quite convinced we’re doing fine, no need for holy zeal
But will we hear our Saviour’s strong appeal?

Get in or out?
Be hot or cold
Quench not the Holy Spirit
Be Silent or be bold
Stop playing church
Choose your side
Who will you serve
You must decide
The lukewarm life has nothing God desires
Be zealous and repent
And get on fire
(Just get on fire, Christians get on fire)

We need the Lord to heal our eyes

So we can see our need
To purify our hearts
And make us holy in our deeds
We need to live for riches that are tested and found true
Hear the Spirit tell us what to do
