“HAPAG NG PAG-ASA”

BY: JOEY VELASCO

This art is an example of Representational artwork, this painting is not just Joey’s
fictional characters, and this is based in real life people. This art is a secondary source because
it is similar to the painting of Leonardo Da Vinci, “The Last Supper”. In this portrait, Jesus
appears to be having a meal with the 12 children. It depicts the story of poor homeless
children, they are victim of poverty. We can see it to their ragged clothes, satisfying their
hunger, and starved for love. This shows that Jesus loves us unconditionally and these children
despite our differences. There are objects like wooden table, barrel, tire, plates, food, and even
animals.

“SPACE TRANSFIGURATION”
BY: JOSE JOYA

The painting is an example of non- figurative abstract or non – representational

artwork, and it is also primary source because it is originally created by Jose. The painting is
actually an analogy to human imperfections. The earth colors symbolize the weaknesses and
limitations of humanity while the hues of greens and blues represent life and hope. The white
background represents the snow that starts to envelop the mound. In the process, the entire
imperfection will be covered thus presenting the cycle of life.
