SUPERIOR COMPRESSOR START UP CHECKLIST
AND REPORT CONTROL PROCEDURES

‘The purpose of this Engineering Standard Is to identily procedures for distribution and conticl of the Superior
Sar-Up Checklist and Report. This checklist provides packagers, service representalves, and users with a
clear and concise checklist fo follow during inital stating of Superior compressors. It is also the official
notification to Superior that the compressor has been paced in service.
20 SCOPE
The Superior StartUp Checklist and Repott shall be used by all Cameron service personnel, as woll as
packagers, and customers. Iti not intended to include all safety precautions and procedures and the checklist
is to be used in conjunction with the equipment instructon manual,
3.0 REQUIREMENTS
Instruction Manual, customer's regulations/procedures and any applicable safety regulations. ‘The Superior
Sar-Up Checklist and Report should be used as a minimum. More detailed locally developed start-up
checklists may be used if they report all f the data and checks covered in the Superior Start-Up Chackiist and
‘Roport. If the locally developed start-up checklist does not cover all tems listed on the Superior checkist please
complete the Superior lis 2s well asthe locally developed lis.
4.0 RESPONSIBILITY
The attached start-up checklist and report must be filed out for each start-up of new or OEM remanufactured
Ccompressorsioylinders. It is the responsibilty of the customer fo make sure the checklstreport is completely
filed out and returned to Superior in a timely manner. Ifthe packager is doing the start-up the customer must
make sure the packager completes the checklist and gives it to the customer so that the customer can mail a
‘copy of the completed list to Superior.
50 PROCESS
5.1 AMaster (Controlled) Copy ofthe Superior Start-Up Checklist and Report is maintained on SAP.
5.2 A copy of the checklist will be included with every set of Instruction Manuals.
5.3 Afterall applicable sections of the checklist have been completed; the originator will forward to the Warranty
Department atthe folowing address:
