Quinceanera Ceremony Program
III Ceremony:
Beloved brethren. and friends it is my privilege to welcome you in the Name of Our Lord
Jesus Christ to this ceremony of thanksgiving on the occasion of the fifteenth anniversary
of the life of: _____________________________________________ which we celebrate on this day.
(ask the procession of young people to stand at the altar and say)
Your family and friends who have come to celebrate with you have some presents to
remind you not only of this special day in your life, but also of the great privileges you have
of being a daughter of God.
• The last doll: Here is your last doll this is a symbol of your transition from
innocence to adulthood. A memory of what you were as a child, so that when you
look at it, it will remind you of those beautiful times and that for God you will always
be his beloved child. (Give doll to the Quinceañera)
• Bible: This book contains God's promises for an abundant life. If you follow
faithfully what is written therein, then you will prosper in your path and all will be
well with you. (Return bible to sponsors)
Let this book be your guide and your path in all the years of your life.
• Sunshade: (Ask for the sunshade and give it to the young lady)
This sunshade will help you remember that God's protection will be over you like a
shield. When you find yourself in difficult times, remember that God is your refuge
and strength (Return umbrella to sponsor).
• Cushion: This Cushion will bring to your memory that you will always find a
support in your family and friends to get through any inconvenience in your life.
(Return cushion to sponsor)
• Crown: This crown will remind you that if you remain faithful, you will receive the
crown of life. Jesus said, "Be faithful until death and I will give you the crown of life. I
am coming soon... so hold back what you have so that no one will take your crown"
(Padrinos put the crown on Quinceañera)
• Rings: (Ask for the ring; put it on the ring finger of the right hand).
The ring is a symbol of commitment and authority. You should know that in this new
stage of your life there will be many struggles and temptations. But remember that
you are the daughter of the King of Kings and Lord of Lords and you have the
authority to say no to any temptation.
d) Prayer for the Quinceañera: Father, we thank you because today you have allowed
us to celebrate this special day with (name of Quinceañ era)._____________________________
We ask you to bless her, to make her face shine, that every day your mercies may be
revealed in her life and above all that you may fill her with peace. Your word says: "My
peace I leave with you, my peace I give you, not as the world gives but as I give it."
Exit of the cortege and then the Quinceañera with music in the background.
