Subject: Year 8 French Examination

Dear Parents,
Your child is in the process of preparing their French assessments for this opening half term. This half term,
they will be sitting a written assessment on the topic of ‘Manger et Boire’ as they have been covering the
topic of food and drink. The date of the written assessment will be shared with your child in lesson and written
in their planner.

They are encouraged to revise:

• What they normally eat for breakfast/lunch in the week.
• What they eat normally for breakfast/lunch on the weekend.
• What is their favourite food and why?
• What food do they dislike and why?
• What do other members of their family like to eat and drink and why?
• If they are able include other people and their opinions.
• Refer to the future or past and what they are going to eat or ate.

All pupils have access to the vocabulary pages, lessons delivered in class and the online platform
www.languagenut.com. These resources can be found on their class Teams Page. I have also attached a
revision pack to support their learning.
