Title: Employee Salary Sheet
I) Designing a spreadsheet of 20-25 employees
a) Use the following fields:
Employee name (max 40 characters)
Date of Joining
Basic salary
Dearness Allowance
House Rent Allowance
City Compensatory Allowance
Provident Fund
Income Tax Deducted
Net salary
b) Save the file as Employee Salary Spreadsheet
c) Sent an email of your File to your Accounts teacher for assessment
d) Print the hard copy of your file
e) Submit the hardcopy
Important Instructions:
Dearness Allowance (DA) is paid @ 45% of Basic Salary.
House Rent Allowance (HRA) is paid @ 15% of (Basic Salary + DA)
City Compensatory Allowance (CCA) is paid @ 8.3% of (Basic Salary + DA + HRA)
Provident Fund (PF) is deducted @ 12% of (Basic Salary + DA)
Income Tax (IT) is deducted @ 10% of (Basic Salary + DA + HRA + CCA)
Net Salary is summation of Basic Salary + DA + HRA + CCA less PF and IT
 General Instructions:
 Craft a visually appealing cover page, including the project title and student details.
 Use clear and consistent handwriting throughout the project. Avoid the use of glitter
pens. Only use blue and black pen.
 The comparison has to be made in the form of Common Size and Comparative
Income Statement and Balance Sheet.
 The comparison could also be shown graphically and/ or pictorially (bar diagrams and
pie charts).
 Maintain a balance between text and visuals to present information effectively.
 The written project will be of minimum 15-20 pages.
 Use headings and subheadings to organize content logically and enhance readability.
 Ensure that all sources and references are cited correctly.
 Proofread the entire project to eliminate errors before submission.
 Project to be submitted on September 24, 2023 in the form of journal to the teacher
for assessment. Project 2 hardcopy needs to be attached in the journal itself.
 Fill up the certificate page and index appropriately.
