JOYFUL MYSTERY
(Monday and Saturday)
Upon learning that her cousin Isabel was in the sixth month
of her pregnancy, Maria immediately went to visit her to
put herself at her disposal. This is a great lesson for us: the
more we love our neighbor, the more we love God.

dawn, the Sun of Righteousness, Christ, gave light to those
who were in darkness; through Him we beseech the soul of

deserve to come out of that darkness and reach the
splendors of his Glory. We ask this through Jesus Christ

her)
I ask you to forgive him for your painful passion.
Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord
And let perpetual light shine for him (her).
Rest in peace
So be it
For Jesus the most important thing was to do the will of the
Father. That is why he stayed in the temple in Jerusalem,
without even telling Mary and Joseph. This teaches us that
God comes first. Therefore, let no one, for the sake of
obedience to men, set aside obedience to God.
PAINFUL MYSTERIES
(Tuesdays and Fridays)
"Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one's life
for one's friends" (John 15:13-15), Jesus had said. And he
proves it by suffering and dying for us on the cross. Jesus
left us the greatest proof of his love. Now it is up to us to
know how to take advantage of this love, renouncing our
life of sin and trying to start a new life.

GLORIOUS MYSTERIES
(Wednesday and Sunday)
Jesus died and rose again. For Him sufferings and death
were the way to reach resurrection and glory. The same
will happen with us: if we accept the trials of this life with
patience we will one day achieve the great progress we all
desire: to die and rise with Christ.

GUIDE: Pray for him (her) and for us Holy Mother of God.
Pray for us
FAMILIAR
My God, you have taken away the person I loved most in
this world; you have deprived me of him (her) forever: but
you have thus arranged it in this way, may your most holy
will be fulfilled in all things, both over him (her) and over
me. The great consolation that remains for me is the hope
that you received him (her) in the bosom of your mercy
and that you will deign one day to unite me with him (her).
If the full satisfaction of her sins detains her even in
sorrows without her having yet gone to unite with You, I
offer You, so that she may achieve her salvation, to change
my bad conduct, to make charities in favor of the most
needy and to confess my sins in order to commune the
Body and Blood of Christ. Supreme arbiter of our fate,
absolute master of our destiny! Sovereignly dispose of us
and our days, we are not of ourselves, but of You; You
have done nothing but take what belonged to You and lent
us for a time. Blessed and adored be the dispositions of
your Providence. This death that makes me shed so many
tears must produce in me a more solid and salutary effect;
it itself warns me that my hour will come and that I must
prepare myself without delay and be ready at every
moment of my life; let O God of goodness! When my last
moment comes, may I find myself in a state to stand before
you and be reunited with the person I have lost to bless you
and praise you eternally with him (her). Amen, Jesus.
GUIDE: you can ask everyone to pray an Our Father, a

blessing, for the sick, for world peace, for children, for the
poor and for our needs. If you feel that people are tired you
end the Rosary with what follows:
CONCLUSION
GUIDE: For all who are about to leave this world, that they
may repent of their sins and give their lives to Christ as a
pleasing offering.
GUIDE: For all those who do not know Christ, that God
may move their hearts and grant them the opportunity to
know Him and surrender to Him, before it is too late.
GUIDE: You who forgave the good thief on the cross and
promised him paradise. Deign to forgive and take our
brother (a) N..................... to heaven.

LIFTING CEREMONY
CROSS
(Before beginning the last rosary)
CELEBRATOR
The cross that we have laid out is already dressed with
white flowers, they remind us of the Holy Shroud with
which Jesus was wrapped. We believe that like Jesus, our
Knights of
Columbus
brother (a) N................................. will be free from all evil.
We have placed the white flowers in the shape of a cross
and a red one in the center as a symbol of the heart. The
white flowers remind us of those that the Blessed Virgin
Mary of Guadalupe gave to Juan Diego; with this memory
we entrust our brother (a) N.............................. to her
blessed Mother's protection. We surrounded our cross with
9 candles or white crayons in remembrance and gratitude
to God for having allowed him to still be with family,
neighbors and friends for 9 more days. We also place in the
four points of the cross and one in the center these five red
candles; this reminds us of the blessed wounds and the
most precious blood of Our Lord Jesus Christ shed for our
salvation.
For us, the light of the candle signifies the faith that
encourages us, the hope that animates us, but above all, the
presence of the Risen Christ, light of the world, who has
overcome the darkness of sin.
For the indigenous people, the cross was the sign with
which they represented the god of life and the holy place
where the gods were. When a person died, they burned his
body, took his ashes to the house and placed them in the
form of a cross. They did this because they considered that
at death the path of god (from east to west) crossed with
the path of man (north to south).
For us, the cross reminds us of the great love and self-
giving of Jesus who gives us Life in abundance, Eternal
Life.

Brothers and Sisters, let us participate in the Mass with the last
remains of our brother (a) N ......................................There
It will be confirmed that this Christian soul has already passed to
a better life; and that he is waiting for his relatives, friends and
neighbors to help him to be saved from now on with our prayers
and good deeds.
(After hearing mass, or the next day, one goes to the Pantheon
and buries the box at the foot of the tomb, remembering: "That
dust you are and to dust you shall return". But having next to him
the cross of Jesus Christ, which is a sign of the passage to the
Resurrection).
