IV. PROCEDURES
A. Springboard/Motivation (Establishing a purpose Activity 1: 10 Minute Pre-test
for the lesson)
 A. Look at the pictures below. Put a check mark (4) in the blank if the
drawing shows an acceptable situation for a child, and an X-mark (8) if
it does not. (Module pp. 2)

 B. You are given some statements below. Put a check mark (4) in
the blank if the statement is an example of the rights of a child
and put anX-mark (8) if it is not.

B. Activity (Review of previous lesson/s or Activity 2: Multi Media Presentation


Presenting the new lesson)
 Show a video presentation to the learners about old Filipino games
used to play by children.
 Let the learners pay attention to the video being presented on the
electronic learning resources.

How many of you able to play that games when you were a child?

C. Analysis (Presenting examples/instances of the Activity 3: (Think-Pair- Share)

 Let learners choose a partner.
 Let them choose old Filipino games they both used to play during
childhood days.

 Let them think and share their answers to their partner explain they like
that game.
 Each pair will come in front of the class and tell their classmates why they
choose that game.
 Each pair will demonstrate how to do that game.

D. Discussing new concepts and practicing new Presenting the Lesson

Activity 4: Think-Pair-Share

 Pair learners by choosing numbers randomly in counting 1-2.


 Give each pair a meta card and a pen.
 Present to them the questions on page 7 and let them think what
their answers are.
 Each pair must discuss their answers in front of the class.
E. Discussing new concepts and practicing new Activity 5: Karaoke Time
skills (sub-activity #2)
Let learners do the karaoke time by singing the song being presented
on the ELR in titled “ Bawat Bata” or refer to page 9.
 Let learners sing it with emotions.

 Give each group a manila paper and a pen.
 Members of the group must follow the house rules in doing the
activity.
 Let each group do the task by describing the chosen picture
about the rights of a child.
 Each group will choose a leader and discuss their answers in front
of the class.

 Show a picture to the class about responsibilities of every child.
 Let each group elaborate about their own idea regarding the pictures.

statement does not describe the right of a child, write Disagree.
