Thank you for selecting us as a venue for your forthcoming event, we are pleased to submit the
proposal for your kind perusal and consideration.

EXTERNAL SOUND SYSTEM:
• Surcharge of RM 500.00nett for sound system usage > 32 amp
• Surcharge of RM 800.00nett for sound system usage > 64 amp

LCD PROJECTOR:
• LCD Projector at RM 500.00nett per unit
ADDITIONAL WHOLE LAMB
• Grilled whole lamb at RM 1, 650.00nett per unit
KARAOKE CHARGES (VENUE):
• Karaoke charges to be at RM 1,500.00nett
• Surcharge of External Karaoke Set at RM 350.00nett
GUARANTEED ATTENDANCE:
• Billing will be based on the guaranteed attendance, even if the actual attendance is less than
the guaranteed attendance. Should the actual attendance exceed the guaranteed attendances,
it will be charged accordingly.
• Changes in the guaranteed attendance to be advised at no later than 72 hours (3 working days)
prior to the function / event

FUNCTION ROOM

Protection of Facilities ACGIR does not permit the use of any nails, hooks, tacks or screws in any part
of the Meeting Room or to alter in any respect. ACGIR will also not permit the
affixing of any material to the walls, floor, doors, and ceilings without prior
written approval from ACGIR. Any damage to the Facilities will be borne by the
Client who will bear the cost of repair or replacement.

If necessary, the Client shall at their own cost and expense assign or train
competent personnel to maintain and handling the logistic and all mechanical
system provided by ACGIR to the Client and all other items in the scope of
service to the public.
Damages All damages except for normal facility wear and tear, is the responsibility of the
Client. A final walk-through will take place at the completion of the event and a
damage evaluation report will be completed. If the facility is not returned in the
same condition as received, the Client is responsible for the costs necessary to
repair, and/or replace any damage that occurred throughout the course of the
event. All replacements and/or repairs will be carried out by ACGIR and cost
will be borne by the Client.

Smoking Based on the current regulations, please be advised that smoking is strictly
prohibited in all air-conditioned function rooms, pre-function areas.

Food & Beverage Food and beverage must be arranged with ACGIR. NO outside food and
beverage is allowed to be brought into the Resort and the Resort does not
allow any take away of leftover food from the event.

Governing law This Agreement, when signed, shall be governed by and shall be construed in
accordance with the laws of Malaysia and the Parties hereby submit to the
jurisdiction of the Malaysian courts in all matters arising out of this Agreement.

TERMS & CONDITIONS OF BOOKING AND PAYMENT


Reservation Reservation made directly to the Hotel by your delegates will be treated as
individual reservations and subject to normal room rates and availability,
unless otherwise instructed by yourself or appointed “organizer”.

• The above package rate is non-commissionable and subject to change without prior notice
• The resort reserves the right to adjust the rates, in the event of tax alteration/ amendments made
by the Government

Tentative Reservation Should a booking be made, it will be held for a maximum period of 07(SEVEN)
days from the date of quotation, after which the booking shall be released
automatically.

Confirmed Reservation In order to secure the booking, we require a 50% deposit (non-& non-
transferable) of the total estimated charges for the event.

Balance Payment The balance payment is to be settled seven (07) days prior to the date of
event. Payments can be made by Company Cheque or Credit Card. All cheques
must be made payable to:

CANCELLATIONS / POSTPONEMENT

Cancellations or postponement must be made in writing and the following charges will be applicable:
• 50% of total estimated charges if cancellation is made more than 30 (thirty) days prior to event
date.
• 100% of total estimated charges if cancellation is made less than 30 (thirty) days prior to event
date.
• If the event is postponed to a date not later than 6 months from the original date of event and
provided that notice of postponement is received not less than 60 days prior to event date, a
charge of 25% of total estimated charge will be imposed. The new date will also be subject to
Centre’s availability.

Please refer to our Marketing Department in any wish to use our name “AMVERTON COVE GOLF &
ISLAND RESORT”, in any media to ensure the correct name is given.
