1. What have you accomplished so far with your Capstone Project outside of class?
So far, I have been in the research stage of my capstone. I used JSTOR to find credible sources on
affordable housing and low-cost housing materials. I have yet to produce questions to ask architecture
firms and construction workers and to visit a construction site.

2. What do you plan to accomplish by the end of next week?

I plan to produce the questions I can ask architects and people in the construction industry. I can reach
out to construction workers through my dad who works with a lot of them. Then I can hopefully
Visit the construction sites.

3. What are your needs (time, space, materials, personal contacts etc.)?
A big need is time and personal contacts. I need plenty of time to research and create my 3D model
house. I am also relying heavily on personal contacts from the construction industry.
 4. Have you encountered any obstacles or challenges so far, and how have you overcome them?
The biggest obstacle is me. Most of the time I am so focused on other schoolwork I completely forget
about my capstone. This week I will need to focus on what I need to and put in all my time and effort.
