Biodiversity

 The variety of life in a particular habitat or ecosystem.


 Composed of ecosystems, species, and genetic diversity.
 Bio (means; life), Diversity (means; variety)

Types of biodiversity:

a. High Biodiversity
- Means, there is a great range of organisms interacting differently.
- The environment is better able to carry out natural processes during external stress.

b. Low Biodiversity
- Means, an ecosystem with minimum interactions between and among organisms.
- Usually lead to habitat loss due to human destructions and natural disasters.
