What is the simple verb in the first


sentence? In the second sentence? In the
third sentence?

When were the action verbs done?


In the first sentence, the word help is an example of a simple
present tense of the verb. It is used to state facts or general
truths and habitual actions of the subject. It uses the word
always to indicate the time the action is done.

In the second sentence, the word pray was added with


-ed when used in the simple past tense. It uses the time
expression yesterday to indicate that the action was already
done.

The third sentence is in simple future tense, the word will is


added to the verb start to form the verb in the future tense.
It also uses a time expression to indicate future time.
