BRAHM PRAKASH AYURVED CHARAK SANSTHAN, NEW DELHI (AFFILIATED TO GGSIP UNIVERSITY) FOR THE ACADEMIC SESSION 2023-24. REFERENCE: UNIVERSITY NOTIFICATION NO. 259/2023 DATED 29.09.2023. This information notice is being notified for admission in ‘50% State Quota Seats’ in MD/MS Ayurveda only for candidates who have passed BAMS degree from GGSIP University. The procedure for “I Round of Offline Counselling/Allotment of seat for the 50% State/Institutional Quota Seats” for the above said programmes is given below: Consequent upon the Registration in PGAC (CET Code 196) and submission of documents by the candidates for verification and preparation of merit list in reference to the University notification no, 259/2023 dated 29.09.2023, the Schedule for 1" Round of Offline counselling in PGAC for the session 2023-24 is as follows. 1. Only the candidates who have qualified AIAPGET 2023 and have passed BAMS from GGSIP University, have registered with this University and submitted their documents for verification and preparation of merit list are only eligible to participate in this Offline Counselling for 50% seats under State/Institutional Quota. It may please be noted that the candidates who have not qualified AIAPGET 2023 and have not registered with GGSIPU or did not submit their documents for verification and preparation of merit on the specified date & time, are not eligible to participate in the counseling for allotment of seats. 2. Tentative merit list prepared basis on the documents submitted by the registered candidates, is attached with this schedule as “Annexure - I’. However, the final merit shall be ascertained at the time of re-verifieation of documents and allotment of seats at the counselling venue. 3. The tentative seat matrix to be included for admission/allotment of seat under 50% State Quota is as under: (@ DRAVYAGUNA - 03 (Il) KAYACHIKITSA - 04 (II) KRIYA SHARIR -03 (IV) PANCHKARMA - 02 (V) RACHNA SHARIR - 04 (VI) ROG NIDAN & VIKRITI VIGYAN - 04 (VIl) SWASTHAVRUTTA - 05 4. The candidate has to be present in person for the purpose of verification of documents and allotment of seats as per the schedule on the specified date & time, The candidate must produce original certificates for the purpose of verification of documents and allotment of seats.5. ROSTER POINT: ‘A 200 point roster shall be followed for admission on ‘GGSIPU State Quota seats’, The roster shalll be continued from the next roster point, where the counselling was closed in the Academic Session 2022-23 i.e. for the Academic Session 2023-24 — State Quota, the Roster Point shall start from 114. Note: Since the roster point cannot be left blank, the conversion of seat of a category will be during the first counselling itself. The EWS seats will be filled purely on merit and on the roster system during allotment of seats. There shall be no OBC reservation in PGAC. Refer Admission Brochure 2023-24. 6. BAMS from GGSIP University and submitted their documents for verification and preparation of merit list within the scheduled date & time are eligible to participate in the Offline State Quota Counselling. @) All the candidates, irrespective of Rank and Categories, have been called to ensure that no seat remains vacant. However, THE COUNSELLING SHALL STOP AS AND WHEN THE SEATS AER FILLED UP. 7. GEN! iS AND CONDITIONS: i) CLARIFICATION OF SCHEDULED CASTE CATEGORY CERTIFICATE: It is seen that some SC category certificates issued by competent authority of NCT of Delhi has a clause stating that this certificate is issued on the basis of certificate of parent issued by competent authority of a State / UT other than NCT of Delhi. The benefit of reservation shall also be extended to all candidates who hold SC certificates issued from GNCTD provided such caste is enlisted in the list of ‘Scheduled Caste as specified in Presidential Order 1951 as amended from time to time in respect of Delhi subject to fulfillment of other conditions specified therein. Such candidates whose certificate has been issued by competent authority in GNCTD but their castes do not fall in Delhi, as specified in the Presidential Order 1951 shall not be considered for admission against seats reserved for ‘Delhi Region Category’. There shall be no OBC reservation in PGAC. Refer Admission Brochure 2023-24. The reservation certificate should be in the name of the candidate seeking admission. The reservation certificate in the name either of parents (Father/Mother) is not acceptable. The name and other particulars in the reservation certificate should be identical to that in Registration form as well as in the 10" & 12" class certificates. Any variation in the name or other particulars in reserved category certificate may lead to refusal for admission by admission officer in the reserved category. In absence of reserved category certificate, the candidate will not be entitled for any provisional admission in reserved category on the basis of any undertaking. The required certificate(s) for reserved categories/classes will be essential at the time of the counselling/admission and no provisional admission shall be admissible for want of caste/category 29% 10. uw 2 certificate. Further, the castelcategory certificate should invariably be in the name of the candidate himself/herself and not in favour of respective parents/guardians. ELIGIBILITY CONDITION FOR PGAC PROGRAMME: Candidates should have qualified BAMS. All candidates must appear in AIA-PGET 2023 conducted by AYUSH for the appropriate branch and qualify to be considered for admissions. NOTE: Only the BAMS graduates passed from the medical college/institute affiliated with GGSIP University are eligible for allotment of seats under 50% State Quota (conducted by GGSIPU). The applicants who have passed BAMS from Institutes/University other than that affiliated with GGSIP University are not eligible for allotment of seats under 50% State Quota (conducted by GGSIPU). QUALIFYING MARKS/CUT OFF PERCENTILE: In order to be eligible for admission to PGAC, it shall be necessary for a candidate to obtain minimum marks of percentile in the AIAPGET 2023 as per the minimum marks of percentile mentioned in the Central Council of Indian Medicine notification which is 50” percentile for General Category, 40" percentile for SC/ST/OBC, candidate with benchmark disabilities specified under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 (49/2016), the minimum marks shall be 45" percentile for the General Category and 40" percentile for the Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Other Backward Classes.
