IMPORTANT NOTES

 Class Admission: You can attend the classes only in the first 10 minutes after start time. If you do not stay till the end of
the class, you are marked absent.

 Plagiarism: Plagiarism is a term used to define the act of copying somebody else’s ideas and presenting these ideas as
his/hers. Any idea that is written on your paper shouldn’t be a copy of any other thing. This includes Artificial
Intelligence (AI) use, as well. Students who steal information directly from the internet, from their friends or an AI tool
will be punished accordingly.

 Copying any idea, report, homework or anything related to the course requirements (Intentionally or unintentionally)
will result in getting a grade of “0” from the assigned task and receiving disciplinary punishment. Copying from the
internet or fellows’ papers is strictly cross-checked by the instructors and no excuses will be accepted in plagiarized
materials.

 Skills Extension Tasks: Skills Extension Tasks will be done in class. You will complete the first drafts of the writing part in
class on Skills Extension days. You receive feedback from your teachers on your writing tasks. Then, based on your
feedback, you will write a second draft and upload it on BB along with the picture of the first draft. So, you will write
two drafts for each writing task and only the second draft will be graded.

 All announcements will be made either via Blackboard, mail groups or ISU Foreign Languages Website. It is students’
responsibility to follow the announcements.
