Step by Step Instructions for Embedding a Web 2.

1. Identify and select desired course from Canvas dashboard.

2. Identify the module and page in which you’d like to insert/embed the web 2.0 tool.
3. Select the desired page
4. Press the “edit” button in the top right corner.
5. You should now see a text box appearing on the screen.
6. In another tab, please access your selected web 2.0 tool in your web browser. For the purposes
of these instructions. I will be using Microsoft PowerPoint.

7. Select the “File” tab.

8. Under the share tab, select share.

9. Select embed

10. Press the “copy” button to select and copy the provided embed code.
11. Return to your Canvas tab. Locate the insert button.
12. Under the insert menu, select the “embed” option.
13. You will see an empty text box. This is where you will paste the embed code.
14. Press submit.
15. The PowerPoint presentation will now be a live presentation within your Canvas course.
16. Scroll down and press save.
