Dismantling of Clandestine
Laboratory
A clandestine laboratory is primarily used to
secretly manufacture illegal drugs. Such is being
dismantled by PDEA together with other law
enforcement agencies.

During the year, two (2) clandestine shabu


laboratories and one marijuana processing facility
were dismantled.

A shabu laboratory located in Santa Rosa City, Laguna was dismantled on June 3,
2020. Four personalities including Samson Tan, a Chinese chemist, were arrested.
Shabu weighing 758.80 grams worth Php5.16 million were confiscated.

A shabu laboratory located in Subic, Zambales was dismantled on August 20, 2020. Confiscated in the facility were CPECs used to manufacture shabu, and laboratory appara-
tus and equipment. One drug personality was also arrested.

High-value targets or HVTs play a critical role in ensuring proliferation of illegal drugs. In 2020, 2,709 Foreign Nationals Arrested
