Narrative Report on Gender and Development Program

Pursuant to DepED Order No. 32 s. 2017 titled Gender Sensitivity Training for
Teaching Personnel. To address the various gender needs and concerns the teachers in
Siange Elementary School joined the 2-Days District Training on Gender Sensitivity on
August 1-2, 2023 held at Jopats Resort and Hotel, Bongabong Oriental Mindoro.

The objective of the program is to increase the level of awareness and understanding
on GAD concepts, issues and concerns. And the expenses of the said program are charged
in the School MOOE which cost 11,000 for the food and accommodation of Siange
Elementary School Teachers.

On the first day of the program, Mr. Arjay M. De Torres discussed the Introduction to
Gender and Development. And on the second day, Ms. Cherry Mae L. Ng discussed the
SOGEISC.

The training helps a lot to all teachers of Siange Elementary School that they can
share to their pupils.
