BUSINESS CONCEPT

Our business idea HUERTOS AMIGABLES offers the consumer a gourmet fruit, which
is produced through Good Agricultural Practices, applying clean production and
biological controls and a lower use of chemicals to have a healthy food. Hydroponics as
a method of production of gourmet fruits in addition to the use of biological control as
an aid for the production and reduction of pesticides makes us different from the farmer
producer who makes intensive use of products of synthetic origin.

The final product to be offered is the fresh cherry tomato and in baskets of 454 grams, a
little more than the competition, also exposing in a notorious way for the customer that
it is made using eco-friendly techniques with the environment. And also in preserves in
oils and spices, in order to enter the international market later on.
Tomatoes are a highly consumed vegetable worldwide. This fact derives from the
different types of fruits that the species presents and the various forms of consumption
that it offers. The tomato Solanum lycopersicum belongs to the Solanaceae family. It is
a biannual herbaceous plant of Central and South American origin. It is currently
cosmopolitan, cultivated for fresh and industrialized consumption. Its growing use in
restaurants, bars and in the manufacture of various dishes as an appetizer.
Cherry tomato also known as cherry tomato, cocktail tomato or baby tomato (Scientific
Name: Lycopersicumpimpinellifolium) is a small variety of tomato that has been
cultivated since at least the early 1800s and is believed to have originated in Peru and
northern Chile. Cherry tomatoes ripen faster than other varieties and take up the least
space.
Currently the cultivation technique is hydroponic agriculture in which the plant grows in
inorganic substrates without soil.
The planting of this product does not require much care, because it is watered once a
week and pruned once a month. In addition, the fruits are harvested from the 12th week
onwards.

Expand our Camaleón Cherry brand, with the vision that allows us to serve all our
consumer segments, such as wholesale markets, external intermediaries, restaurants and
the supermarket chain belonging to Corporación la Favorita.
Huertos Amigables will provide information about the organic product by means of a

NEEDS
Chameleon Cherry seeks to make itself known as a brand in supermarkets, stores and
wholesale markets in Ecuador, with a product with price sensitivity, inclusive

Our product, Chameleon Cherry, is aimed at people with food education, consumers
identified with fresh dishes such as salads, tomato sauces, vegans, gym, etc., and also

currently marketed.
2. In the initial stage of product evaluation, it is necessary to submit one (1) sample
and/or catalog, price list and other details necessary to evaluate the positioning
of the product, such as: name of other stores where the product is sold, date of
market launch, sales volume, copy of Sanitary Registration or Sanitary
Notification (where applicable), brief explanation of the marketing and/or
advertising campaign being carried out. The sample will be returned if requested
in writing at the time of submission of your information. In view of the large
number of samples we receive and to avoid saturation of the office warehouses,
fifteen days after receipt of the sample, Corporación Favorita will respond to the
request to provide and will grant fifteen days to the interested party to withdraw
the sample. If the sample is not withdrawn within fifteen days from the response
with the purchase decision, it will be donated.
3. The Dept. Commercial will evaluate the information submitted based on
parameters of consumer choice, saturation, market opportunity, segment to
which it corresponds, experience and others. The acceptance or refusal will be
notified to the interested party within a maximum period of 15 days from the
complete receipt of the information detailed in numeral 2 above.
4. If it is in the best interest of the parties, you will be provided with an information
package with general instructions for its provision.
