What is Philosophy?
Philosophy is the systematized study of
general and fundamental questions,
such as those about existence, reason,
knowledge, values, mind, and language.
A study of human morals, character, and
behavior.
It is the study of concepts with the aim
of seeking the fundamental truths about
themselves.
Branches of Philosophy
Metaphysics is the study of reality.
Epistemology is the study and
understanding of knowledge.
Ethics is the study of morality, right and
wrong, good and evil.
Politics is the study political government,
laws, liberty, justice, rights, authority,
political states and systems, ethics, and
more.
Aesthetics is the study of beauty and
taste.
Importance of Philosophy In One's
Life
People can learn the essence of everything with the help
of philosophy. In order for us to know, we must seek for it.
Embrace change by accepting it and increasing our
knowledge, and challenging ourselves to learn more. It
improves a person's ability to solve problems. It helps one
to analyze concepts, definitions, arguments and problems.
Additionally, it makes a unique contribution to the growth
of expressive and communicative abilities. It provides some
of the basic tools of self-expression. One can become fully
cultured, intelligent, and well-rounded through philosophy.

It is an academic understanding into


the important issues in life.
It is a point of view of life.
