ECS2290 Assessment 2 - Individual Report instructions and marking criteria

Individual Report Topic: Pros and cons of the rapidly increasing globalisation we have seen over the
past half a century (max 1000 words).

Individual report (1,000 words): the report requires students to apply all knowledge gained on
welfare effects of economic integration, regional trading blocs, as well as doing business in a
globalised world in order to discuss the pros and cons of the rapidly increasing globalisation for both
states and organisations. While writing the report, students should take into account the different
circumstances and needs of both advanced and developing economies. This will assess learning
outcomes 4, 6, and 7.

The coursework should contain the following two main parts, plus a brief introduction and
conclusion.
