General Labour/ Traffic Controller

now hiring for General Laborers/ Experienced Traffic Flagger with a real passion
for working at clients' jobsites.

General Laborers/ Traffic Flaggers can be found on almost all sites, performing a
wide range of tasks from construction debris removal to internal/external
construction site cleanup. As a Flagger, you would help notify drivers of the need
for reduced speeds or restricted lane flow. As such, you would play a key role in
crafting and maintaining safe construction sites. They are at building, highway,
and heavy construction sites, residential and commercial sites and demolition
sites. Many of the jobs they perform are physically strenuous and may require
special training or experience.

Responsibilities
 Moving, securing, loading, or unloading materials
 Some specialized tasks may require on-the-job training (No Handling of any
motorized vehicles or Tools)
 Non usage of any heavy and light equipment, on any of our clients’ job
sites/assignments
 Moving items from place to place, according to direction from the site
supervisor.
 Moving dirt or other material as directed by site foreman or by supervisor.
 Qualifications & Experience
 There is no minimum educational requirement, but specialized training can
help laborers advance.
 Verifiable work history that shows professional skills and experience
 Strong work ethic and teamwork

Working with construction team to establish safe movement of traffic around

construction zone, in accordance with safety regulations.

• Flagging motorists to warn them of obstacles or repair work ahead.

• Taking ownership of keeping work zone and passing cars safe
• May need to place signs, barricades, traffic cones, and other warning devices-
duties will vary according to job assignment.
• Directing traffic flow using Department of Transportation regulations
• Responding to emergencies as directed and performing tasks in the interest of
public safety and property protection during emergencies.
